NEW ORLEANS - According to a quality of life survey conducted by the University of New Orleans, New Orleans residents say they are more satisfied with life in the city this year than they were last year, and twice as many find the city has become a better place to live since last year.
While Mayor Mitch Landrieu's approval rating slipped three percentage points, a majority of those surveyed approved of the job he's doing. Landrieu's approval rating dropped from 69 percent in an early 2012 survey, but remained high at 65 percent.
