Body of Baton Rouge civil rights leader the Rev. T.J. Jemison lies in repose in state Capitol

The body of the Rev. T.J. Jemison, a Baton Rouge civil rights leader who helped organize the city's bus boycott in the early 1950s, lay in repose in the state Capitol on Friday (Nov. 22).

Jemison died Nov. 15, 2013. He was 95.
