
A judge Monday ordered a $450,000 bond for the alleged ringleader in last week's fire that destroyed the LeBeau Plantation. State district Judge Perry Nicosia also set bonds of at least $75,000 for six other men charged in the incident.
The judge ordered the $450,000 bond for Dusten Davenport, 31, who authorities said suggested setting the uninhabited plantation on fire early Friday. Sheriff's officials said Davenport, of Fort Worth, Texas, stacked pieces of wood to start the fire.
