Bond for suspect in AmeriCorps volunteer murder set at $1M

New Orleans, La. - A judge set a $1 million bond Friday for Glen Emerson, booked with second-degree murder in the death of an AmeriCorps volunteer.

Police arrested Glen Emerson, 18, Thursday afternoon at an apartment building in New Orleans East. Emerson also may be linked to another murder in the same neighborhood.
