HOLDEN, La. -- Three missing tubers were found unharmed after a search by the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office on the Tickfaw River.

Friday, the missing tubers -- two men and women -- were found the following morning -- around 7 a.m -- by the Air Divison of the sheriff's office. They were found on a sandbar near the Courtney Bridge in the Holden area, Sheriff Jason Ard said.

On Thursday, around 11 p.m., a group that had finished tubing the Tickfaw River called police to report that three people in their party were missing, Ard said. They had become worried after the three failed show up hours later.

The sheriff's office launched a search, but was unable to find the missing tubers until the next morning. The three tubers were attended to Acadian medicial personnel, though all declined any additional treatment. Ard said.
