Anthony P. DiGerolamo, a West Bank political fixture who served four Jefferson Parish presidents, died Wednesday (Dec. 25) at his Terrytown home. He was 67.
Mr. DiGerolamo joined the parish as director of fleet management under President Mike Yenni. Working for Yenni’s successors, including Tim Coulon, Aaron Broussard and Steve Theriot, Mr. DiGerolamo served in various executive capacities, overseeing departments ranging from libraries and general services to the animal shelter and recreation.
In 2010, he moved to the legislative side of government.
