KENNER, La. - Two suspects arrested in a Kenner convenience store robbery could be tied to several hold-ups of stores throughout Jefferson Parish.
Deputies booked Michael Thomas and Carlos Williams with three counts of first-degree robbery.
On Monday, a witness to a robbery of the Quick Stop on 18th Street in Metairie flagged down a deputy and pointed out the suspects. The deputy caught up with them at an apartment complex.
They were arrested after detectives found a gun and backpack in the car that matched the description of those used in the robbery.
