An 18-wheeler overturned on U.S. 190 in Covington on Monday morning, dumping a load of what appeared to be scrap metal and creating a traffic jam. The accident occurred on southbound U.S. 190 just south of the Bogue Falaya River bridge.
It is not known if anyone was injured in the accident. Covington Police and the 12th Fire District are on the scene.
