Four teenagers who authorities say went on a burglary spree in December, breaking into several unlocked cars in several western St. Tammany neighborhoods, have been arrested and booked on vehicle burglary charges. The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office said in a news release Friday that it received "numerous" reports of vehicle burglaries in the Mandeville, Covington and Abita Springs areas throughout December.
Residents reported several items had been stolen out of their unlocked vehicles, including GPS units, cell phones and digital cameras, the Sheriff's Office said.
