The NOPD has released two videos of a man they suspect stole insurance documentation from a car in Bayou St. John on Tuesday morning. Police say the man broke into the vehicle and rummaged through the car, which was parked in the 3300 block of St. Philip Street.
Videos show the man approaching the rear of the vehicle around 6 a.m., and then opening the rear hatch. The video shows that he sifted through the trunk for a short period, then entered the driver's side door.
Police say the man is of unknown height and was carrying a bag at the time of the theft.
