A longtime executive at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans will assume leadership of the medical center this spring so that its current chief executive can direct his energies toward the hospital’s nonprofit parent company, according to an announcement from Children’s.
Mary Perrin, who serves as the hospital’s senior vice president and chief operating officer, will take over as president and CEO of the 250-bed pediatric hospital April 1, according to the news release.
Steve Worley, who has served as head of both Children’s and the nonprofit that manages it, Louisiana Children’s Medical Center, will remain CEO of LCMC and focus his attention on the parent organization.
