NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police are investigating a fatal shooting in Algiers Wednesday.
The incident happened just after 5:30 p.m. on Old Behrman Highway.
Police responding to the scene found a 35-year-old man lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He died at the scene.
The victim has not been identified pending notification of family members.
The lead homicide detective in this case is Tindell Murdock.
