NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police arrested a man Sunday for dealing what they said was a large amount of narcotics in the Central Business District.
Eric Carter, 29, was picked up at about 6:30 p.m. after officers on proactive patrol saw him make a hand-to-hand drug transaction near the intersection of Elk Place and Canal Street, according to a news release from the city.
As officers tried to speak with Carter, he allegedly became defensive and a brief struggle ensued.
