NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - A New Orleans police officer turned himself in to Public Integrity Bureau detectives Friday morning after he allegedly refused to wait for an officer to issue him a speeding ticket, grabbed his driver's license from the officer and fled the scene in his personal vehicle.
Sgt. Charles Miller was stopped Thursday at about 8 p.m. for allegedly speeding on US 90-B westbound near Claiborne Avenue in a truck without a license plate.
