City updates water main status, addresses damage claims

New Orleans, La. - Parts of one Carrollton neighborhood are experiencing flooding this morning following a large water main break.

The city of New Orleans says that the sewerage and water board has crews on the scene.

Several inches of water can be seen in parts of Spruce and Burdette Streets.

Residents in the neighboring Tulane area are also reporting low water pressure this morning.

At this time, there are no boil water advisories in effect.
