A 16-year-old accused of killing a friend last week in a twist on Russian roulette will face possible second-degree murder charges as an adult, an Orleans Parish Juvenile Court judge ruled Tuesday.
Dante Veals had been playing video games with Deion Robair, also 16, and another friend March 19 before the session took a deadly turn that afternoon. Robair, struck once in the shoulder, died inside a house in the 3600 block of Kimi O’Gray Avenue in the Desire neighborhood.
