New Orleans, La. - Friday night Saints fans will encounter new NFL security restrictions on what you can bring into the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Easing the way a bit for season ticket holders, the team has been offering up a free "approved" clear plastic bag with the NFL logo. People can pick them up at Saints camp as long as supplies last.
Under the new restrictions adopted by NFL owners, you can no longer bring in things like big purses, backpacks, briefcases or camera bags.
Instead, small, hand-sized clutch purses are okay as well as clear plastic or vinyl bags that are no bigger than 12 X 12.
The goal is to speed up security checks going into stadiums.
