NEW ORLEANS -- Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin is scheduled to be in federal court Thursday for a status hearing in his corruption case.
The hearing comes just days after sentencing for a contractor considered a star witness in the case was pushed back to Jan. 29.
Rodney Williams is preparing to testify against Nagin during his upcoming trial.
Williams is the former head of Three Fold Consultants, which managed street projects for the city.
He allegedly made payments to Nagin's counter top business in exchange for getting several city contracts.
