NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The Board of Elections has a complaint against one candidate for New Orleans City Council-at-Large.
Tuesday, candidate Jason Williams filed a formal complaint against his opponent, Cynthia Hedge-Morrell.
He says she violated elections laws on the day of their primary, handing out election material to residents living in a building that served as a polling place. The code says a candidate can't be within 600 feet of a polling place.
We reached out to Hedge-Morrell's campaign, asking her to comment on the complaint.
