Missing mock police car located

A movie production unit fell victim to crime Monday when someone towed a replica police car away from the set in the Central Business District.

FOX 8 received this brief advisory from the New Orleans Police Dept. Monday evening:

A Ford Crown Victoria was reported stolen from a movie set in the 300 block of South Rampart. The vehicle is marked as a police car. The vehicle can't be driven and had to have been towed. The vehicle's doors have explosives in them. The explosives make small bullet holes when detonated. [Attached] is a picture of a similar vehicle from the same movie set. Use caution if located....

Police have not identified which movie production was involved.
