The Capital Area Transit System Board has two vacancies after a series of recent controversies prompted resignations by two members. Metro Council member Chauna Banks-Daniel believes one of those spots should be reserved for a resident of Baker, and has added an item to the council's Aug. 14 agenda that, if approved, will make her wish a reality.
Her proposed resolution calls for the council to ensure that a Baker resident fill one of the open vacancies on the CATS board.
