FOX 8 received this news release from the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office Wednesday afternoon:
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in connection with the attempted armed robbery of a Slidell area Dollar General store earlier this month.
Just before noon on August 6th, an unknown white male entered the Dollar General, located at 123 S. Military Rd, three different times. When the cashier asked the man if he needed assistance, he approached the counter and asked her if she could provide change for a $1 bill.
