Jefferson Parish Inspector General David McClintock onWednesday announced his first two staff hires. He also announced the location of his permanentoffice.
Kim Raines Chatelain will serve as first assistant inspectorgeneral, a role that includes coordination of policy, procedure andprocurement, as well as general counsel. Chatelain has been a practicing lawyer for 20 years and is a graduate of Tulane University Law School, according tobiographical information that McClintock's office provided.
Chatelain served as an assistant Louisiana attorney general 1997 to 2001, and in 2011, Jefferson Parish President John Young appointed her as director of governmental and ethics compliance.
